About Us

Our Practice

Welcome to my website. I hope you find it informative and reassuring. After graduating the New York College of Podiatric Medicine cum laude in 1986, I continued my podiatric training during a podiatric residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, NY. After completion of my residency program, I joined a well-respected Manhattan Podiatric Surgical practice for additional training in the latest podiatric surgical techniques (laser surgery, minimal incision surgery and internal fixation).

During these post graduate years, I envisioned my present practice, which I began in 1989. I am Board Certified by the American Podiatric Medical Specialties Board in Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. I am a fellow in the American College of Podiatric Orthopedics. I have developed a practice where I can educate my patients and help them understand their medical problems. This empowers my patients to make informed choices with regard to their health care and to be involved with the development of their individualized treatment plan. My patients always have all of their questions and concerns answered. I strive to provide you, my patient, with comprehensive care in a comfortable, relaxed setting with a compassionate supportive staff to welcome you.

My practice philosophy is simple. I am dedicated to helping you overcome and heal your foot ailments so that you can return to your active life. I will develop an individualized treatment plan for you to achieve this goal. I will provide podiatric medical care using state-of-the-art techniques and instruments, like in-office diagnostic ultrasound to see soft tissue injuries, digital computerized 3-D foot scanning and imaging to make your custom foot orthotics, color and power Doppler to evaluate your blood circulation and Keryflex nail restoration to restore and repair your damaged toenails. Now, in minutes, toenails that have been damaged by fungal infection or trauma can be cosmetically repaired to their natural appearance.

In June 2010, I relocated my practice to a new location now at 185 West End Avenue, Suite 1N, New York, NY 10023. My new office provides a peaceful park-like setting with garden views and tranquility. I know you will feel welcome and comfortable there.
